Deep Line — privacy policy
Last updated 3 October 2026
This policy covers Deep Line: Into the Dark — shown as “Deep Line” on your device — the mobile game published by Pageli Tech LLC on Google Play and the App Store. The website has its own policy at pagelitech.com/privacy.
The short version: Deep Line is free and shows ads. It has no accounts, no logins, and no analytics, and Pageli Tech LLC does not collect, receive, or store any personal information about you. Ads are served by Google AdMob, and to show them Google collects device information including your device's advertising identifier. That happens between your device and Google; it does not pass through us and we never see it. Your game progress stays on your device. If you buy No Ads, the ads stop and nothing is collected for advertising at all.
What the app stores
Deep Line saves your progress — coins, upgrades, which fish you have caught, your best depth, your Blitz high score, whether you have bought No Ads, and your settings — in local storage on your device. That information never leaves your device. We cannot see it and it is not sent anywhere.
If your phone is set up to back up app data, through Android's automatic backup or an iCloud device backup, your save may be included in that backup. That is handled entirely by Google or Apple under their own privacy policies; Pageli Tech LLC has no access to it.
To delete everything Deep Line has stored, uninstall the app.
Advertising
Deep Line shows two kinds of ad: one between fishing trips every so often, and one you can choose to watch in exchange for a temporary bonus. Nothing in the game is locked behind watching an ad.
Ads are provided by Google AdMob. To select and measure an ad, Google and its advertising partners may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier — the Android Advertising ID, or the Identifier for Advertisers on iOS
- your IP address, from which an approximate location such as your country can be inferred
- device and app information — model, operating system version, language, and which app requested the ad
- ad interaction data — that an ad was shown, how long it was visible, and whether it was tapped
This data is collected by Google, not by us. We have no access to it. What we see is an AdMob dashboard with totals: how many ads were shown and what they earned. There is no way for us to look up an individual player, and we could not identify you from it if we wanted to.
Google's handling of that data is governed by:
- the Google Privacy Policy
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services
- the list of Google's advertising partners
Your consent, and how to change it
In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the app shows a Google-certified consent form the first time you play, before it requests any ad. You choose there whether to allow personalised ads. If you decline you still get ads — they are simply chosen without using your data, and we earn less from them. You can reopen that choice at any time from Ad privacy settings, in the game's Upgrades panel.
On iOS, Apple's own “Allow this app to track your activity?” prompt appears before any ad is requested. If you decline, the Identifier for Advertisers is not available to Google and ads are non-personalised. You can change it later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising identifier, or turn off ad personalisation, in Settings → Google → Ads.
Removing advertising entirely
No Ads is a one-time purchase inside the game. Once it is active, the advertising SDK is never asked for an ad again and nothing above is collected. It is the most complete opt-out available and it is permanent for that device.
Purchases
If you buy No Ads, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. You give your payment details to Google or Apple, never to us and never to the app. We receive no card number, no billing address, and no name — only, through the store's own dashboard, the fact that a sale happened in a given country.
The app records your purchase as a single setting in local storage on your device. Tapping Restore purchase asks the store whether this account has bought it before, which is a question about your purchase history put to the store you bought it from; no personal information is sent to us.
Permissions
On Android, Deep Line declares these permissions. Most are added automatically by Google's advertising and billing libraries rather than requested by the game:
VIBRATE— haptic feedback when you catch or snag a fishINTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— required to request an ad and to make a purchaseAD_ID— lets the advertising SDK read the advertising identifier described aboveACCESS_ADSERVICES_*— Android Privacy Sandbox interfaces used by the advertising SDKWAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE— added by the advertising SDKcom.android.vending.BILLING— required to offer the No Ads purchase
None of these prompt you, and none gives access to your files, contacts, camera, microphone, or precise location. Deep Line asks for no runtime permissions at all.
On iOS, the only prompt is Apple's tracking prompt described above.
Sharing a score
If you use the share button after a Daily Dive or a Blitz run, the app hands a short line of text — your score — to your device's standard share sheet or clipboard. You choose whether to send it anywhere, and to whom. Nothing is transmitted unless you do that yourself, and the text contains nothing beyond the score you just earned.
Children
Deep Line is rated for ages 13 and over and is not directed to children. It is not part of Google Play's Families programme and is not designated as a Kids app on the App Store.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and because we collect nothing from anyone there is nothing for us to delete. If you believe a child has been shown personalised advertising in this app and you want that addressed, write to the address below and we will pass it to Google, who hold the data.
Your rights
Since Pageli Tech LLC holds no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show you, correct, or erase — a request to us would return an empty file. For the advertising data described above, Google is the party that holds it, and the controls are the device settings and the consent form listed under Your consent. Buying No Ads stops the collection altogether.
Changes
If this policy changes I will update the date at the top. A change to what the app actually collects will also be described in the release notes for the version that makes it.
